Tuscany Wedding Videographer

Rolling hills, cypress-lined roads, medieval borghi and villas with centuries of history – Tuscany is one of the most beautiful places in Europe to get married, and one of my favourite places to film. I have filmed weddings across the region, from the Chianti hills near Siena to the Val d’Orcia and the countryside just outside Florence.

Most Tuscan weddings I film are celebrations of several days: a welcome dinner among the vines, the ceremony and the reception, and often a relaxed pool party or brunch the day after. I film the whole weekend with a team of two or three videographers and, when the day calls for it, a dedicated drone operator – documentary in approach, cinematic in result.

Tuscan venues I have filmed at

Borgo San Felice, Chianti

A restored medieval hamlet among the vineyards of Chianti Classico, east of Siena. Stone lanes, a little piazza and long views over the vines make it perfect for a wedding where the guests stay together for the whole weekend. Watch the film.

La Foce, Val d’Orcia

A historic estate above the Val d’Orcia, known for its terraced Italian gardens and the famous winding cypress road nearby. Few places capture the Tuscan landscape so completely. Watch the film.

Villa Corsini a Mezzomonte, Florence

A Renaissance villa in the hills of Impruneta, just south of Florence, with formal gardens and views across the Tuscan countryside – grand and elegant, yet only a short drive from the city. Watch the film.

Borgo Corsignano, near Siena

A restored borgo in the countryside between Siena and Florence, with gardens made for intimate outdoor ceremonies and long dinners under the stars. Watch the film.

Tenuta La Fratta, Sinalunga

A historic estate near Sinalunga in the Val di Chiana, surrounded by olive groves – relaxed, romantic and authentically Tuscan. Watch the film.

When to get married in Tuscany

Late spring and early autumn bring the softest light and the most pleasant temperatures: the hills are green in May and June, and the vineyards turn golden around the harvest in September and October. High summer is hot, so I like to plan the ceremony for the late afternoon and the portraits for the golden hour.

Working with your planner

Most destination weddings in Tuscany are organised by a planner. I work hand in hand with them and with your photographer, so the filming fits naturally into the timeline and nobody feels watched. I take on a limited number of weddings each year, so every film gets the time it deserves.
