Provence & French Riviera Wedding Videographer
Lavender fields, vineyards, hilltop villages and château gardens in the warm evening light – Provence is made for weddings, and the French Riviera adds the sea and a touch of glamour. I have filmed weddings across the Luberon, the Alpilles, around Avignon and Aix-en-Provence, and on the coast near Cannes.
Most of the weddings I film here are celebrations of several days: a welcome dinner, the ceremony and the reception, and often a pool party or a brunch the day after. I film the whole weekend with a team of two or three videographers and, when the day calls for it, a dedicated drone operator – documentary in approach, cinematic in result.
Films from Provence & the French Riviera
Venues in Provence I have filmed at
Château de Tourreau, near Avignon
An 18th-century château in Sarrians, between Avignon and Carpentras, with formal gardens and a grand façade – a beautiful setting for a large, elegant celebration. Watch the film.
Airelles Gordes, La Bastide, Luberon
A luxury hotel in the hilltop village of Gordes, with views over the Luberon valley – one of the most glamorous places to get married in Provence. Watch the Persian wedding at Airelles Gordes or the film from La Bastide de Gordes.
Château de Sannes, Luberon
A wine estate in the Luberon, where the vineyards, olive trees and the château’s gardens make a calm and refined backdrop. Watch the film.
Mas de la Rose, Alpilles
A traditional Provençal mas in the Alpilles near Eygalières, surrounded by olive trees – intimate, sunny and quintessentially Provence. Watch the film.
Château de Grimaldi, Aix-en-Provence
A château with gardens in Puyricard, just north of Aix-en-Provence – classic Provençal elegance close to the city. Watch the films of Hannah & Andrew and Sarah & Mert.
Palais Bulles, French Riviera
Pierre Cardin’s famous “bubble palace” above the sea at Théoule-sur-Mer near Cannes – one of the most unique wedding venues anywhere. Watch the film.
When to get married in Provence
May, June and September are wonderful months for a wedding in Provence – warm days, soft evening light and fewer crowds. The lavender is at its best in late June and July, while the coast stays warm well into the autumn.
Working with your planner
Most destination weddings in Provence and on the Riviera are organised by a planner. I work hand in hand with them and with your photographer, so the filming fits naturally into the timeline and nobody feels watched. I take on a limited number of weddings each year, so every film gets the time it deserves.
