After sharing a heartfelt first look outside their lodge, they embarked on a journey to the base camp of Sólheimajökull Glacier. Equipped for the trek, they, along with their guide, hiked across the glacier's icy expanse to find a secluded spot sheltered from the wind. Here, amidst the pristine ice formations and the vast, tranquil beauty of the glacier, they exchanged vows in a ceremony that was as beautiful as the surroundings.

About Sólheimajökull
Sólheimajökull is an outlet glacier of Mýrdalsjökull, just a few minutes off the Ring Road between Skógafoss and Vík. A short walk from the car park takes you to the glacier lagoon and the edge of the ice, where black ash and blue ice meet.
Walking on the glacier is only possible with a certified guide, who provides crampons and ice axes – and tours run all year round. It is one of the most accessible ways to have a real glacier as the backdrop for your vows.
